A recent poll published by Universidad Centroamericana (aka UCA), showed that the majority of salvadorans are not happy with how Bitcoin was implemented in El Salvador.
In 2021, over 30% of salvadorans were in favor of using public funds to buy Bitcoin. A year later, 21% are still in favor:
77% of salvadorans are against using public funds to "Buy the dip":

Take into account that the poll is about the Bitcoin Law, not cryptocurrencies.
Even though that the Chivo Wallet (Government's wallet) has been fixed and works as expected, the current bear market crushed the popularity of Bitcoin. Some salvadorans are still into crypto, doing day trading or scalping. Small and large businesses can handle crypto payments, however people prefer FIAT currency, specially US dollars.
